Installation#

Go to blender preferences -> add-ons tab, click install and select weight_layers_bl36x.zip file for Blender 3.6 or weight_layers_bl4x.zip file for Blender 4 or never.

Or you can unzip file and copy weight_layers folder to your blenders addons folder.

Make sure Weights Layers addon is activated by searching its name on addons panel.

You will find the Weight Layers tab in the N-Panel in the 3D view, when you are in Weight Paint mode.
